Any input on the ratchet I've been seeing in some of the Crafstman sets that Sears has on sale? It's not the 36T raised panel, it's not the 75T, and it's not the 84 tooth. For some reason I want to say it's a 45 tooth.
The one I saw at the store was in the 320 piece set.

I noticed them on the website... they caught my eye when looking at what sets were on sale for Black Friday. All of the same size sets in the store depict the 75T or 84T ratchets. I must have missed the 320 Pc. set at the store. Someone on the sears website said they were 45 tooth in the review column. I have no idea if these really exist or not... There are many people on eBay who buy these sets and break them up to make a fast $$$, but nobody has listed them yet...

I've seen several different new sets in store with the 45 tooth ratchets. At least 60 or 72 teeth would have been better if they were going to come out with a new ratchet, 45? Meh. Also they are really pumping up the piece count with bits now, especially the 450 count. At least you can easily subtract the bit count because its in big numbers in a breakdown right on the front. That's one thing you have to do when comparing the retail tool sets.

Good points. I don't need any more ratchets for my garage, but I'm tempted to buy one of these kits to keep as a portable set.
It seems like the bits are used to "up" the total number.
