Hi all. I'm new to this forum and currently working on an addition to my existing 40x40 pole barn. I thought I would share what's going on since I'm sure I'm going to have some questions as I go.

My existing barn was built in 2008 and was on a 40x40 footprint. However, 10x24 of that is overhang, so my inside footprint is really about 30x40.

Here's my original barn:

I decided to put on an addition this year before winter and got working on a 46x48 addition with 14' ceilings.

Here is the start:

More to come.

Nice! Should take a while to fill that up. What are the usage plans? Nice looking pick up you have there. :)

I'm sure it won't take too long to fill it up. You know the saying, "The more room you have, the more stuff you get". I just don't want that to happen. My plans are to use the new addition as a hot rod garage. The existing building will be the workshop. Eventually I want to put in a two post lift and use it for my classic trucks. I plan to add neon signs and other memorabilia. Thanks for the compliment on my K10 truck.
