I have a 36" Ridgid pipe wrench. I got it at an estate sale for $5. I use it at least twice a week. I had the lid switch go out in my washing machine a couple of years ago and I was in a hurry. I pried up the top and twisted the wires on the switch together so I could finish the load and get out of town. I screwed up the clips that hold the top when I did it so now the top just sits on the machine. I set the pipe wrench on top of the washer when I do a load, it keeps the top from bouncing off when the washer hits the spin cycle. $5 well spent, and I might actually get to use the wrench for what it was meant for one day.![]()
