Getting all the site work done this week. Got a call today that my barn is too big according to county guidelines.
I have 6.5 acres, pay obscene property taxes, pay their fees for all the permitting, and still have to go to a Town Hall meeting so they can tell me what I can build on my property!!!!

I was going to set the posts this coming Monday (4/6/20) and try to get it all wrapped up before Summer...not now!!
Inspector said the next meeting is on April 10th and it will be 30 days after that!!
Also there is a chance they could cancel the meeting on account of this Corona Virus. Who knows

I see this all the time....then thank God I live in the middle of nowhere. No zoning, no building inspectors - no NOTHING.

I built a commercial income property - a large self storage/mini storage building. I literally built whatever I wanted, however I wanted.....and not a single person to hold me up.
