Does anyone use a 4mm socket for anything? I have never personally used one. My 1/4" set starts at 5mm and I don't even know if I use 5. I used a 5.5 earlier today on a multi function switch on a ford explorer.
Just wondering if I should grab a 4 next time I'm on the tool truck or forget about it

If I recall correctly, I used a 4 mm socket to remove the headlight cluster on my father in law's Chrysler minivan.

I've use it a couple of times during my lifetime. You may never use it everyday but when you need it its there. I'd get one if i was you, a small socket like this shouldn't cost much

The oddball really tiny metric sockets I have are chinese ones plucked out of those cheapo sets you find dirt cheap at yard sales. For how often they are used, and the fact that most of the time you are dealing with a tiny screw that is going into plastic I could not justify the expense of buying name brand when I already had the cheap ones.

If I need a 4mm I am going nut driver instead of ratchet. I wouldn't think something that small could withstand much torque from a ratchet.
