Well, not really...
I recently bought a new KTM (I'm kind of a KTM nut). A very slightly used 2010 450 XC-W Six-Days. The previous owner had bought a ton of KTM "hard parts" (accessories) and other gear, and threw in all in with the $5K deal for the bike. So here's my new KTM tool set. Free or $5K, depending on your perspective!
No COO listed on any tools or the box itself. Only markings at all are "CHROM VANADIUM" (with no "E" on "CHROM") semi-crudely stamped on each piece. Some additional markings on the ratchet, "45Z" and "D.PAT.M 98 04 574.1" (German Patent #?)
KTM is an Austrian company, so I suppose there is some possibly that these are OEM'ed by a German/Austrian/Euro tool company, but by looking at them, my strong suspicion is that they are Chinese.
Any ideas?
