Came in a box of junk. Looks like a sliding t but head is fixed. Any ideas on maker?

I have a slide that is 5/16" hex drive. It is Williams. I have never seen any other brands that run this size.

Walden made a 5/16-inch hex drive set, but it had a sliding tee. Those double knurls look familiar, but I can't place it!

Indeed. I have some various unbranded hex sockets with that pattern.

I have one bit driver and one socket in that size. No idea of the maker.

I recently picked up a very small proto ratchet in 5/16 hex. Based on the odd model number, H-338, I'd suspect it was a contract build for someone..
