5/4 board prices

Does anyone know about how much 8 foot 5/4 deck boards were a year ago?thanks

Assume you mean treated. I bought cedar tone deck boards from Menards to build a new deck. On April 18th of last year a 16' board was $18.49, and 10' were $11.29 (didn't buy an 8's). Had to redo our old deck the other week, and on March 19th of this year I paid $25.99 for same 16' board.

You could try going to archive.org and using their wayback machine function - it takes snapshots of many (most) websites out there and archives them for future viewing. See if they have a snapshot from a year ago for the website of your local supplier (whether it's Home Depot, Menards, or whatever) and look to see if it shows pricing from back then.

Maybe a little further back than you asked but I paid $5.57 each for 5/4x6-10ft STD PT at Home Depot in January 2020.

2 months earlier I paid $4.88 each for premium 8 footers.

In my overall understanding, treated lumber today in general is roughly 250% of a year + ago.

Figure backwards from there.

I recall paying about 700-1100 per thou for treated for years until about 1 1/4 yr ago.
