I’m sure I’m not first to ask this or come up with idea. But?
Talking about treated 5/4 thick boards that normally use for decking. I want to install a skirt board or belly board around living space to kinda help separate it from garage. I also like to use it as trim boards both on corners and around windows. While at HD( just looking) I was able to find some 16’ ers with little or no knots. Just need to let them dry to see it say straight or not or maybe cut around them. I was also going to use oil base primer once dry out. Living space going to be Board Batten and garage going to be lap siding. So thicker wood would be nice. Wondering if anyone has done this with regrets or happy with results?
