Have to build one piece at a time. None through Cripe. Here's a Proto deep impact for $13.24.:D

LOL.

So dumb that the 1/4" tray goes to 5/8"
I have a chrome 5/8" in 1/4" drive, and have used it a couple of times, but FAR from necessary, and kind of ridiculous since the socket is the size of the ratchet head.

Since I have a full set of GW 1/4" impacts and a Milwaukee 1/4" square drive impact, I get a lot of use out of them with underhood work. I just tossed the 5/8" in with my last Cripe order because of the price, and why the hell not.

I got a blue point 5/8" in 1/4" drive a little over a year ago. I haven't used it yet, and actually got over the compulsion to fill the rest of them.

I doubled up on the trays. Where most people commonly put deep and shallow in the same tray, I put 6pt and 12pt in the same tray, and have separate trays for deep and shallow sockets (shallow socket trays would be a waste of a deep drawer). The point being, if I give in to the compulsion to fill all the spots, it's really going to get expensive. There's more than twice as many open spots, as 6 and 12 point just don't always have the same availability. There's one combination that's almost impossible to find. I'm not sure of the top of my head, but I think it's 1/4" 12 point metric. There's just almost nothing in the way of anyone making those sockets.

I would really be in a mess if I got another set of trays for impact sockets as well as chrome.

Oh dammit....that's not an idea I need gnawing on the inside of my brain...

And then it's all downhill if you factor in 12pt impact sockets... :lol_hitti
