Wow! That would have had me traveling across town for even more stuff I absolutely don’t need. Hard to pass that up. Bet that seller gets a few messages.

Yea, they don't last long and I saw it within minutes of posting. I did try to throw this one at Twertsy because it's in his backyard but he is out of town right now. From there, I dumped it up here for others to get a fighting chance. It's worked out a few times and also acts as motivation for those who wonder if these sort of deals turn up.

Meanwhile the only one on my Clist is $128 and 100 miles away...

And not a bullet.

I used to find one a month at that price, now it's about one a year.
The most expensive Wilton I've bought was my 600s.
I gave 40 bucks for it and a Chinese 6 inch vise and a 3/4 plate 2x2 welding table.
Ive bought and gave away a dozen or so wiltons in the last 6 years.
My baby on the swivel was $12 in the box. Long gone.

Edit:
I forgot about the 600n I gave the nephew. That was $50

Craigslist adv.
Wanted big vise.
(works with anvils too. I pick up a free one in November. No name 110lbs-ish, a slightly longer and narrower horn than you'd expect.)

I think I've read four $5 Wilton posts this month.

Duckface, one of those was mine. Found it at the recycling yard several days ago. $5. I also bought a repaired Craftsman vise at the same time--he charged me $10 for that one.

In 2007 I turned down a Wilton 4.5 inch machinists vise for $25. I already had one, and I was dressed up and with a girlfriend. That's life.

Wow I'd take one at any low price

I'd trade that 600s for a dog turd if I really liked that dog turd.
It means nothing to me.

I'd like to trade it for a Shop King or the craftsman with the Chevrons.

Are those Chevrons rare or something? One of my two Craftsman vises has those too is why I ask.

A big one is a little hard to find. Not rare, not worth anything except as a tool. Two sizes are common, but I think I've seen a bigger one.
I'd also trade, possibly, for a big shopking.

Hijack over.
I've cleaned out my pm box AGAIN.
