5" Grinder, 1/2" Arbor?

A friend gave me about 500 cutting disks, but they are 5" with 1/2 arbor.
I have 5 grinders but they are all 4-1/2 with the a 5/8 arbor.

Is there such a thing as a 5" grinder with a 1/2 arbor?

I guess that why he was giving them away

They may not be 1/2" they might be 14mm. Makita's smallest grinder if my ageing memory serves me right, uses a 14mm arbor.

Have any friends with a lathe? it's easy enough to make an adapter to go from 5/8" to a 1/2". I have a couple in my grinder drawer I've made.
