They are running a promo where if you sign up for their Mastercard and get approved you get $50 in points to spend on the site.

They have ALOT of tools.

I didnt get instant approval but 2 days later I got an email saying I was approved and boom, my points are there.

Im trying to decided between some Knipex Cobra pliers, Ryobi One+ reciprocating saw or a Kreg RipCut jig for my circular saw.

You can find visa and master cards that give 250-400.00 cash back for signing up and spending a couple grand in a few months too.

You dont have to spend any money to get the $50 credit.

You get it for just signing up.

except that it is still a new credit card on your account. I recommend getting more than $50 for getting a new credit card.

Rakuten has had a lot of issues with fraudulent credit card charges, research on Google before you sign up or use a credit card on that site. People buy stuff from Rakuten, and then get hundreds or thousands of dollars of fraudulent charges show up on their credit card. I'm not sure if they are getting hacked from the outside, or some kind of inside job that the employees are stealing the numbers. Has happened several times in the last year.

Most people now will only use PayPal on Rakuten, so that Rakuten never has your credit card number. Only buy on Rakuten with PayPal. Never put a Credit Card or Debit Card number in Rakuten.

Good to know - I will proceed with caution and use PayPal. Ive ordered three or four times and used PayPal each time with zero issues.
