It kinda depends on what you are interested in and what you need. I had a gift certificate a while back and bought the mini-bench grinder. I've used it a little bit and it was useful (especially the attachment to hold the dremel tips)

i've had some really bad luck with grinding wheels and cutoff wheels from HF

electric 4 1/2" grinder you can never have too many grinders

I have a craftsman electric wrench and it's great if you are air-less or need to bring along to a friends house.

Not sure if the power of the HF is comparable. I guess as long as it can remove a lug nut it passes in my book.
