As the title says.

Trying to keep price below $6k including shipping.

Live in rural Eastern Oregon.

Would like pneumatic operated.

Thanks for any input.

I have been looking into Redline. Seem decent. They worth a damn?
I don't have any personal experience, I just know that when I was looking at them, there seem to be some cool details and features that stood out over the generic 50 ton sold by HF, Grizzly, and others. The overall design and construction just seems a little beefier, the top truss is much different and it allows the actual press head to roll side to side on a trolley which I thought was cool. The press plates that come with it are actual plates with a v-holder on the backside and some cool little locating pins. And of course the air motor, pedal, and release valve are all included and nicely laid out compared to a simple hand switch.

There are a few other things, but it really comes down to how much you want to build/modify vs just getting from the factory.

I was looking for a 50 ton over last few years and couldn't find one with the specific features I need. Travelling cylinder for one. Open frame so a shaft can stick through (do a lot of shaft straightening), air AND hand operation (air to move fast but need hand pump to feel more delicate stuff) and a LOT of mass (I have built many 20 ton presses and when even 20T lets go things can move/bounce a LOT more than you would expect. I missed the Bayleigh below (IIRC ticks all the boxes, so after a lot of looking around I was ready to buy a cheap Chinese 50T just to salvage the cylinder and pump when I happened upon a new TMG 100 ton at an auction (damaged crate). Now, let's get this straight: a cheapo 100T is more like a 50T press in the real world. I only have to relocate the pump and table winch and I should have a decent tool for less than a grand.

Press we have at work. Seems the guys like it.
The Baliegh looks just like the Redline, which also looks just like a scaled down version of the 100 and 75 ton posted above. To that end, I don't know that I would pay the Baliegh markup.

If I had that kind of scratch to spend on a press, I would get a Dake.

Oops, I see you said pneumatic. Maybe the Redline then?
I love Dake presses. I just bought another at an auction.

They do make an air over hydraulic 50 ton press. Not super common, but nice used ones come up from time to time if the OP can wait a little.

$6K (including shipping) is also very doable as long as time isnt too much of an issue.

We have several baileigh machines at work. The 75 ton press hasn’t had issues but the bandsaw, belt grinder, lathe and mills have all had problems. The parts arent Shipped in a timely manner either. to be fair we are pretty hard on machines. Maybe in a home garage they would be better.
