50" TV wall mount that goes around corner

Are there any single arm TV wall brackets that stay close against the wall but can be pulled out to watch around a corner?

Where my TV is on my garage I want to be able to pull it out and watch it at my workbench.

Really not enough info provided, watch weight, and VESA pattern. As well as if the arm is long enough and if you can basically mount the base on, or right next to the door casing. Not many single arms that extend more, and for sure not in this price point.

Very reasonably priced.

Super heavier than expected.

No experience w a corner one, but they should have it if anyone does.

Have you considered installing the TV mount onto a piece of plywood that his hung on the wall with some heavy duty hinges? Might help you get by with using an inexpensive TV mount option.

BTW - HF has some great heavy duty hinges cheap.

I'm pretty sure it will go relatively flat against the wall, not how mine is mounted, and pull out. I suppose it'll depend how you mount it at the corner or in relation to the corner.

The problem you might have is the size of your TV, I don't know if they make single arm mounts for a 50" TV.

You'll need a long armed mount to be able to swing it 90 degrees and clear. I wonder if you took two mounts and were able to bolt them together to create an extended arm. Keep in mind, the farther that TV is from the wall, the more weight it is leveraging on the mount/wall to sag and fall.

The link above in this post is cheap enough to attempt an "extended arm" bolt together at a $6.99 price plus if it'll fit in the 15% bag makes it cheaper.

I've had a older heavy 42" on my single arm, similar to the Menards link. No problem, mine is heavy duty. I had the same intention but even with a smaller 39" on the mount, no way I can get it low enough to swing through a doorway without taking up a lot of wall space. So I plan to just patch in another TV across the shop with a RF converter and a little RG6.

appropriate size 3/4" ply mounted to TV w CORRECT length metric machine screws, two of the largest longest HF T hinges, lag screwed to building corner.

1/4" Through bolts nylock nuts/ washers to mount ply to hinges.. NOT screws.

Shim away as needed for proper full 90 degree corner swivel action.

If TV needs to be tilted down... cut wedge shims between plywood and TV.

Done.

Cheap and sturdy.
