I need to source a radiant heat boiler for a garage/entry way.

My heat calcs are coming out in the upper 30k btu range. I recently purchased an HTP UFT-80 for about $2200 for my shop. I asked the sales guy if he had anything in the 50k range and he offered one but said it would be $500 more.

The HTP turns down to 8k. Anybody have any suggestions for one something closer in size?

Will it shorten it's life running in the lower range of the output?

Do you want heat only or a combi. Rinnai has an E50C with a modulating pump and about 2.3 gpm at a 75* rise. 13,500-50,000 range. They are designed to safely run at minimum inputs. There is also a 60k btu heat only.

I'm looking for heat only at this point. I debated about putting the boiler in the basement with an indirect tank, but that puts it 80' away from the radiant load and there is a lot of sheetrock in between there.
