There are a million and one (yes I counted) videos of the 20T HF hydraulic press being improved. I have yet to stumble across any for the 50T press available in various colors from grizzly, HF, nt, etc.
I'm going to post a few here that I've made to my new grizzly.
The winch that it shipped with uses a latch that has to be released to lower the bed. Not ideal. So I replaced it with a brake winch. The original was also mounted so that the cable was constantly pulled against one side of the drum so I rotated the new one so it can wind evenly.

Apparently, the cheap way to anchor the cable to the drum is to just weave it through the holes in the side. I'm not a fan, so I fixed that too. Yes, there is way too much endmill sticking out and not near enough in the collet. I took small bites and it worked.
The way the cable was attached was pretty crude, but functional. Unfortunately, it encroached on the space I needed for my press brake attachment so I redid it.
