Yeah really need to keep up on this thread. Well about 8 months ago I quit my day job and starting my own auto repair business out of the shop. So far it has kept me really busy. I did get some more of the interior done. Hopefully I can keep plugging away at it.
Started building my hardware inventory. Seems dull for some but I am excited that I can stop going to the hardware store for random bolts. Been placing a mcmaster carr order once a month for different sized hardware.
Started on a section of interior wall by my tool box. Got everything back in place. Starting to shape up. Now its time to catch up on actual work that pays the bills.
I work on most anything from oil changes to engine and transmission replacement.
The press has been great. Have done some pretty tough wheel bearings without breaking a sweat.
This is a beautiful build. You are coming up on the 5 year mark since you started posting on the thread. I am sure the garage has made a big difference in your ability to do jobs. That is proven because you are now working for yourself. Congratulations on your accomplishments!!
Back from the dead. Allot has changed since I have posted. But new work bench I am building. Found a 4x8 one inch thick top on marketplace. Fabricating new legs and picked up a new vice for it. Figure bench will weigh 2k lbs when complete.
