Finally getting some cleanup done after closing on this property just a few minutes away from our current home. Just under 4.5 acres with Pond and 50x60 Mueller Metal Building w/ a 25x50 covered back porch. Back corner of building has underground roughed in for a small bathroom. Have well and septic install scheduled in the next few weeks. My wife and I had been watching this building sit Idle since it was built in 2010. Owners built it with the intention of an apartment inside while they built a permanent home at the back of the property. Apparently they moved out of town and eventually decided to sell. We have the same plans, use it for weekend get togethers and storage for the RV and toys for the time being. Wanted to post a few "before" pics, these were taken the day we closed. Will continue to post updates as things progress.

Thanks, so far, just more clean up on property. I did replace both front and back lights with LED fixtures. I left the original flood light on the back and just replaced the 1000w:eek: metal halide bulb since it is switched and won't be used much.....what can I say, these folks really wanted to be able to see the pond at night.

Got a little sidetracked trying to get well and septic install lined up. Had put the word out that I would be interested in a tractor for the property. Few days later was contacted by a cousin on my Mom's side of the family that said they still had an old Ford Tractor that was used on the Family Lease for many years. He said it was...and I quote... "uglier than a homemade fence", but I could have it if I could put it to good use. Drove up last weekend and picked it up....a 1959 Ford 841 Diesel. A bit rough around the edges, but runs like a beast and I couldn't be happier to have something that's been in the family for so many years. Bought an old brush hog and box blade they had sitting on the property. Will use it to move dirt for backfilling and grading, then will probably start restoration on it.
