That amount would probably cover my entire purchase price of all my tools, for my own use and for selling/trading. That includes lots of Snap On, Mac, Proto, Plomb, Craftsman, etc, etc.

Of course, most of them bought used, over many years.

The BIN price is very high. Average cost per piece is $28.30. The ratchets and ratcheting wrenches are more than worth that, but not the drivers, prybars, or scrapers.

Still, if a guy was in the market for all these pieces and had money to burn, this would be a quick and easy way to purchase a jumbo orange handle set in one fell swoop. And just think what it would look like in your tool cabinet drawers... OMG!

Oh well, I guess I'll go polish my old Craftsman screwdrivers and reorganize them in my old Craftsman tool box.

I have mine in Green (got burnt out with orange with MAC) but I don't have the ratchet wrenches like the ones shown. Those things are about as usless as ratcheting breaker bar. They would be OK for repetition type assembly but thats about it. To much offset

We should get together sometime, drink a few beers, and talk ratchets. I'll buy!

$28.30 each isn't far off for the prybars. I've seen used prybar sets sell for $100. The ratchets probably another $100 the pair and average the rest at $10 a piece.

I was actually just thinking about that. Didn't the cost to make a new hard handle screwdriver work out to about $30?

53pc? That is nothing, look at this 129 pc lot. It includes a lot of items that you don't commonly see, like the long pick set, the awl set, the 3pc ratcheting screwdriver set with case, the 12pc mini hook/awl/screwdriver set, etc

I think it is going to go for big money, $853 shipped right now. At $10/pc, it would be a ~$1300 buy which is a good deal really for excellent condition hard handles (IF you need all of those tools)

There is something in the franchise agreement that says they can't buy tools from other sources to sell on the truck?

Seems to me like that is the same is taking a 'trade in' and reselling for profit.
