I have to share this story. I found the box at tool box mart in a combo deal that I could not pass on. Ordered it, notified of shipping...wait. They shipped in blue and I wanted black. Back the blue one went from somewhere and a black one was sent. This was no problem for me.
Get a call on Wednesday asking to set up a delivery. I set it up for Thursday afternoon. Had to change a meeting at work to Friday afternoon [on a holiday weekend] to get my box. Got home and a message said my box would not be delivered...no lift gate on the truck. I called to set up another appointment. The guy wanted to do it Friday. He then called back and asked if there was any way to deliver it without the lift. It is my residence. I couldn't do it and offered today.
The driver called at 3 today and was in the neighborhood...I was psyched. Unfortunately, we had torrential rains yesterday and half way up the drive he got stuck. Then his truck died.
He called a tow truck who had to call a tilt bed. Long story short [seriously] the tow truck guys delivered my box...and were quite impressed.
I have no pictures, but needed to share my experience. I hope the box serves me well. It has at least started its life with me with a great story. I guess I have mellowed a bit in my aging as I have no hard feelings about any part of this transaction. Just wanted share that it took 6 hours to deliver my new box...now that is Extreme.
