6.5HP Greyhound engine from Harbor Freight?

I picked one of these up about 2 years ago and dropped it in my go kart to replace an old one.
Just finally got around to finishing hooking it up and came across one problem.
I can go straight and make left turns but as soon as I turn right it cuts out.
Haven't taken anything apart yet to take a look at the carb/float setup but was just wondering if anyone else has come across this problem of starving for fuel when sloshing one way.

If I remember correctly, the issue isn't that the carb is starving, but rather is the low oil pressure sensor. In hard turns, the oil moves away from the sensor and the sensor cuts the ignition. It's a known issue. The 'cure' is to wire a bypass to the low oil sensor...which you do at your own risk.

I'm 99% confident that I've read this before.
