I've had lots of these old Crescent wrenches over the years but have never noticed a mark like this before. Any of you all seen this before or know anything about it? Thanks.
Someone told me that the numbering was possibly a date code. H (8th) month, 63 year, 3rd day. Not sure if this is right or not and still makes you wonder why the markings are not on all the similar period Crescents?
