I've got 28 of these beauty's that we want to replace from the old black rim style incandescent to an integrated LED style.

The problem I'm finding is that Home Depot likes to sell only one real style (different name, built in the same factory) with the long springs. According to the manuals they need to fit into a small retainer. My cans do not have those features.

Can anyone recommend a good replacement that will work with my current cans?

What you need are called friction clips that attach to your fixture. Some light brands include them in their retrofit lights, some can be purchased separately. You can google led retrofit + friction clips for a list

If you undo those two screws, it's possible that the whole dome will come loose. If you can either remove it or push it to the side, you can install a snap in wafer light.

Thanks Jim and CD. Looks like Home Depot has stopped carrying the style, but Lowe's has them. I like the waffle style but can justify 3x the price when swapping out 28 of them....
