I bought a lot of this recently for a project. After using what I needed, I have a piece left that is about 60' long. Measured it with a tape measure and one friend to help me lay it out in the driveway. Measurement is approximate, but I'm willing to bet it is on the short side.

Anyway, Lowes won't take back the 60' because it was cut from a giant spool. So, I'm stuck with it. It would be great for someone running power to a garage or outbuilding that is not that far from the house panel.

I paid $3.70 per foot at Lowes (you can check price) and am looking for a reasonable offer to take it off my hands.

Thanks a lot.

Give me your bottom-dollar price w/shipping to zip 26003 please. Thanks.

Well, to be accurate, I'll have to weigh the wire and get a box that fits it nicely. I'll get on that.

I would like to emphasize the rough nature of my length measurement...two guys, one tape measure, a somewhat straight length of wire in the driveway. I am confident that the measurement of 60' is short thanks to undulations in the wire that the tape did not follow, but if it comes up a bit short I don't want anyone crying foul.

I doubt that you'll need a box, just spool it up and tape the **** out of it so it won't unravel, FedEx does it all the time. At the price, I'm assuming that its copper wire, without a ground wire.

It is copper wire, yes. Can't tell you about the ground...I'm new to electrical work, and am being walked through the process by a pro. I can take a pic of the end of the wire for you so you can see what is in there. All I know is it is called 6-3 UF, rated for direct burial but I ran it in a conduit.

I couldn't believe how much it cost! Big money for the amount I needed.

A pic would be great. I'm a newbie, too, I've got a retired union electrician helping me also. To him these things are a no-brainer, to me they make me sweat. Thanks.

Here are the pics. I haven't had time to get the shipping quote yet. But, it weighs 27lbs and in its current, coiled state is 24x24x4 in dimension.

$180 shipped to WV.

This would equate to a $42 savings over purchasing it from Lowes, assuming it is exactly 60' long.

Thanks for all the trouble, Bull. I just picked up a piece of aluminum that will suffice me on Ebay for a ridiculous price. Again, thanks.

No trouble at all, glad you found yourself a deal.

Now, at least I have pics up for others and can just modify the price according to how far it has to be shipped.

Yes sir I think I may be!

I have to remeasure the distance I will need but I think 60ft would get the job done.

I live in Lexington NC 27292 and I checked the shipping info ... looks like you could go Priority Mail on a LARGE box 30# for around $25.

Would you consider $150 shipped?
