Any of you Gear heads every use or look into one of these 60 light LED work lights.

Are they any good?

Are they bright?

Better than the other types?

I came across one on a tool search. Thought I would throw out an inquiry

Yeah, Ive used them. They are VERY brite (although fairly expensive) the one problem I have when I use these is the glare because the LEDs are such an intense light. It def. Lights up what you need it to (and then some).

I dont know, Ive never put them "side by side" The LEDs giveoff a much different type of light than an incadescent or a flourescent light though. IF you look at this light while its on, its almost like staring into the sun. The light is way to intense to look at, which is a problem when working under a car sometimes.

I saw a similar led light at sears about a month ago, and I don't remember how much it was but I know that it was less than 88.00, in fact they had two of them one that ran on 110 and one that was rechargable. Grizzly.com also has a 110v model for less than 88.00.
