Hello!
Figured I would introduce myself to your forum... Not sure how many Aussies are here, but I intend to add to the number.
I've decided to join this forum after thoroughly enjoying this thread by OldCarGuy regarding his epic complex.
My shop is in the way of being built, and by that I mean right from the basics - getting spanners, and drills, and work benches, pathetic really.
I own a block of land (150 acres, or 60ish hectares depending on who you talk to) that one day I will build a vast workshop on it to cater to my love of tools. As far as the eye can see, mine.

I post regularly on another forum, www.ausubaru.com - A forum dedicated to Classic/Older Subarus, their maintenance and modification. I joined them after buying my 7th car, my 4th Subaru, my second classic Subaru:
My prized Brumby Ute with EJ22 Engine conversion, a 5 speed gearbox fitted in place of the original 4 speed, AWD instead of FWD/4x4 and a LSD in the back - it has lots more work planned for it.
I have a full thread about it here if anyone's interested further.
The reason I discovered this site at all was due to a project of mine to build some custom, all steel frame work benches, that are modular, have storage and can have gear bolted to them, as well as many other functions outlines in the thread here.
A few posts lead to a new thread about workshop setups and a link was made to here, with OldCarGuy's thread.
So, here I am.
Once I finish my bench build I plan on posting a full thread here about it for the Garage Journal members to see.
Cheers for the cool site!
Regards, from Western Australia.
