FULL VIDEO TOUR

I had the pleasure of touring this custom built 60x60 garage. It has a 30x60 concrete basement ideal for storing cars. This is crucial due to potential tornadoes wiping out a car collection. The second floor is a living space and it's on 7 acres of private land.

Im a detailer by trade and seen some cool garage setups but I've only seen one other cool garage similar to this and both guys ran construction companies!

This gave me a lot of ideas on how to build my future large garage so I hope it brings you a few helpful or cool new ideas too!

If I had that kind of money, I'd do it a little different
I would do things differently too! But it's the closest thing I've ever seen to what's in my head and not on commerical land. I loved that basement idea for safe storage.

Same here...but I would not have used a roll up door. It would have been something a bit more 'stout'

Swing out barn doors....steel inside.....with a decorative outside....either gothic English Castle style or white early American style....
It would depend on the style of the garage.

Strong enough to stop a big truck ramming it.

If I was really concerned about someone trying to get my ****, I'd install bollards that could raise or lower

Interesting! Hadn't thought about something like that.

Cool place, nice of the owner to let you show us around. But... That roof valley to hip transition on each corner just looks like a water problem about to happen.
