I have a 60x80 polebarn that I'm getting concrete put in. All but a 14x48 section will be 6" thick. The 14x48 section will be 4" thick & finished off with in floor heat. The finished area will be used as mainly a shop area to work on my various toys (hot rods, pulling truck, daily driver) The large unfinished area will be storage & possibly for roller skating (wife & daughter both play flat track roller derby so team practices could be a possibility). I guess I'm looking for finishing options. Do I need to epoxy the whole thing to prevent oil staining or can I epoxy the shop area & get away with only sealing the large area? Is epoxy the only thing that will stand up to roller skating?

Thanks,
Scott

Epoxy is an excellent surface for working on cars. Resilient and resistant, attractive and long lasting.

I would spoil the ladies and myself!!
