Unreal its going on 5 yrs since I started following this thread, never missed a post.
So nice to finally see you out WINNING shows and enjoying the car.

Way back to Christmas Day 2014.

Now, If I could only finish a project instead of starting more . .

Your dedication keeps the rest of us going.

I got a lot of slack on my Orange truck too. So many whispers in the background it was a Money truck, Checkbook truck. But, It was one of the judges who started to ask questions of who build it. Award ceremony they made sure to mention it was a owner built truck all the way.

While walking by he had turned to his partner and said somebody wrote a big check for that vette...

Having aslo completed a complete custom restoration, I know it was actually a lot of big checks (or credit card bills).

It's nice to get the recognition and appreciation for your hard work and vision.

Thank you for all those nice words and thoughts.
The Corvette is put back into the garage until another event comes along

In the meantime I'm working on getting this old 1928 Durant up and running.
The plan is to repaint the fenders and give the body a goood cleaning and a fresh coat of clear to bring out the patina on the car and drive it to a few shows

Ok Don, you put me over the edge. I am 110% jealous now. To find those years with little to no body damage and have that “I’m old, but still a moving” look, is hard.

Pulled the gas tank out and need to clear out all the old varnish.

This heat is really slowing me down now days. I usually give it up about 3:30 and head to the house for a little R&R.
