Up for sale is 1962 mercury monterey. I took this car down to bare metal and fixed all the rust that was on it, the only spots left are two small holes in the trunk (super easy fix). The car was then sprayed with a custom tan and beige paint scheme and topped off with a heavy metal flaked roof. The car sits on coker wide whites. The motor is out of a ’77 mercury 302 with a C4 transmission behind it. The motor runs good and the car shifts extremely well. I have installed under dash gauges so you can monitor everything that is happening while driving. There is a temp gauge, volt gauge, and oil pressure. The alternator is a new GM alternator and is charging at the ideal 14.2 volts and the oil pressure is at a steady 55 pounds at idle! The interior is done with Mexican blanket seat covers and the door panels are wrapped in a diamond stitched fabric. All in all a very cool looking car that handles great (thanks to power steering) and sounds even better on top of that (straight pipes w/cherry bombs). The car is lowered all around to give it a nice stance, but not too low to where you’ll bottom out on every little bump. All that is left to do is throw some carpet and a headliner in it along with your favorite shift knob and cruise. The body is in good shape but the drivers side rear door is dented (not horribly bad) from someone t-boning it, other then that only a few dings here and there. thought there might some guys interested in this that arent on the hamb
