Moved from a small city house with no yard to a nice 10 acre property out in the country. A 64x45 pole barn was already on the property so my first task was to create a cool shop/party area.
When we moved in the cold was coming so I had to work fast to beat the Minnesota cold and snow!

The previous owner used the main barn for his animals, and had a small unheated shop room built inside.

My first task was to create a loft above the work shop and insulate and heat that space to be able to work in the cold and get all my parts off the main level floor

I want this to eventually look like an old vintage train station or wild west town so I brought in old power poles to use for my structure beams.

Getting all the power poles up and in place

I have a cnc plasma cutting system and like to weld so I am making all my brackets to look like old riveted vintage bridge pieces

then I built the loft above the shop

Love the old industrial look with the rivets. If you could get some square head bolts and nuts it would be ****.

Drooling over that plasma.

Nice going!

Got some more lights done and almost ready to break in the bar this weekend

Also had 19 deer out back so I am looking forward to deer hunting this fall!
