Have complete interior, drivetrain? I'm doing a 65 coupe, and like seeing other mustangs saved after sitting left for dead. Mine sat in a garden for 10 yrs, stiped.... LOTS of rust, most of which is finally replaced. Whats your plans for the car?

Do a thorough rust assessment before you start to spend too much time and money. Cowl, sills, floor, trunk floor are all typical problem areas on a 66, especially one that has been left to rust outside.

That looks like my truck's sister - 4 shades of rust and 4 mismatched, flat tires.

Good luck with it - got your hands full there.

Put it on Ebay with a starting bid of about $6500 if it has an interior in it.
If the interior is out and you can see the ground throughthe windows start it at $4500.

That's what 67-68 Cougars were listed at the other night when I was looking. I had a '68 XR7 when I was in HS, wouldn't mind having another, but I'd rather not build one from scratch.

i hate that about a flat tire.... it always seems the flat spot is on the bottom... if u could only get moving fast enough to get the flat spot to roll up to the top of the tire, you would be ok.
