Hey all,

I'm in the market for a new set of 6pt combo wrenches with a range of around 7-22 mm. I did some brief searches without much luck. I'd like a brand like/similar to SK, Williams, Wright, etc. Snap on and the like are a little out of budget. Hope you guys can help!

As I was working on something today, I was reminded that I need more tools myself. I could use some stubby wrenches. Because my SK regular set is too long (and was hitting some obstructions), and I was having to remove the wrench and reposition it to tighten some carriage bolts down. Or a ratcheting set would've done the trick instead.

I think I'll just get everything -- ratcheting stubbies, ratcheting regulars size, etc.. :)

I went with snap on 7-19 it was the same size range from sk but sadly not many people make 6pt wrenches anymore and if you want anything above 19 maybe older craftman will be your easiest bet

New napa catalog has a carlyle 13 piece 6 point set on sale. I've never used any of their tools but they look pretty nice.

I was just going to post NAPA, has em on sale til september. Carlyle have decent tools per many posts here. They are pricy normally, but on sale seem to be decent bang for your buck.

Good Plan, you can never have to many tools

I have the stubby Gearwrench ratchet wrenches in both sae and metric. They're nice to have, but expensive considering a 5 piece stubby set in metric is $35 and a 7 piece flex metric is about the same price. You'd think less metal, less expensive? I'm just going off memory with the prices, but they were very similar.
