I had the top 7/16 and liked it so I bought a complete set. Long story short I received the set today and the 7/16 that came in the set is twice as wide and twice as thick but it's the only wrench in the set like that. They are both stamped craftsman industrial and they are both 7/16 I tested them just one is crazy huge. Any ideas why that would be??:)

My guess is that the wrench is finished properly - it's a new, and flawed/unfinished/bad, die that it was forged into. They didn't notice or decided it worked fine.

I don't see it as double the size of the other or 'crazy huge' but it is different.

You're dealing with CM, they love these details as it keeps you going back to the stores for warranty visits. How else can they drum up warm bodies in the tool section? It sure ain't the staff, if any.

If it works, use it. Its from an earlier run of that sized wrench in another die set.
