7/32 hex screwdriver

I have recently found a need for a 3/32 hex screwdriver. I have already purchased a bondhus ball end screwdriver but was disappointed by the small handle. Would whia or wera or Another company have a larger handle on a 3/32 driver? Ball end not mandatory.

edit: my bad I actually need 3/32. Application is 10-32 set screws.

The expensive brands usually have decent documentation on their website.

you could also try to use a bit socket on a standard handle spinner, eg

the above thread (you may have also seen) also mentions the issue with small handles on the bondhus and suggests the below Wiha sets as a possible solution (but measurements TBC).

Ok just spent $20 on a pb swiss, guess we will see what happens

The small handle helps prevent over torquing.

Also, did you look on the MSC and McMaster websites?

Never checked mcmaster or msc, when the need arose bondhus was the first one that made sense so i ordered it with out checking specs, it appears pb swiss will fit my hand better. If I don't like it im considering an xcelite handle as 3/32 is available for it,
Other option would be finding 10-32 torx set screws if such an animal exists as my torx driver options would be broader

Turn of events, it turns out pb Swiss has discontinued the her driver I ordered and tool lady is out of stock in 3/32 so I'm once again looking for options

While I really like Bondhus hex tools quality, strength, warranty and customer service I also really hate their handles.

Call me old fashioned but I really like the old acetate handles like the Xcelite series 99 stuff. The Xcelite 99-1 handles are still available (see attached photo). Unfortunately I don't find the quality of the Xcelite 99 series hex blades as good as the Bondhus.

Did you get the SwissGrip soft grip?

I did not get the PB swiss, the standard hard handle is discontinued and the soft grip is not avalible sae sizes.

I was looking for a dedicated handle as this application is for one fixture and wanted a dedicated hex screwdriver for the fixture

I have ordered the Allen screwdriver listed above on eBay. If it doesn't work out there are a few options on McMaster Carr including a 6 inch pose bit I could use with this

For those interested this is the fixture I am using the screwdriver for. Studs welded to damaged panels in a row can easily be pulled in a row with this fixture. Commercial versions are a available but I took to the drill press to make mine as it was 1/4 the cost and it is also 2 inches wider than the most common commercial tool for this purpose

Allen screwdriver has arrived. Looks like this will fit the bill. It is vintage so it does have the typical acetate handle smell. But is removable so I could replace it with bondhus stock if nesasary. Will be using to see how I like it but initial reaction is that this will be great. USA too boot
