I have a 4.5" compact circular saw I bought specifically for cutting sheet metal (body panels).
All of the 4-4.5" compact saws have 3/8" arbors.
There are plenty of "wood" blades available and I have found 4" abrasive cut off wheels with 3/8" arbor holes.
But all the 4-4.5" diamond metal cut off wheels have 5/8" or 7/8" arbor holes.
There are literally 10+ of these little saws available,, but all the metal (except abrasive) have 5/8 or 7/8 arbors,, why none have 3/8 confounds me.
These little saws are much easier to make accurate cuts than holding a grinder sideways.
Has anyone seen a 7/8 to 3/8 shouldered washer adapter?
looks easy enough to run one off of a small lathe,, if I had a lathe
