Been a while since I have updated this thread.....looking over the last 4 months or so has been interesting. Things day to day rarely feel any different but kind of cool to look back over a longer stretch of time.

Yeah his Porsche turned out awesome!

Hoping to have the dyno up and running late next week. Just got a new computer built for it today and Im sure there will be some minor set backs with getting it all put in place...there usually is with this type of thing.

Let me know if you guys need some tuning done...or need a dyno for anything.

A dyno... jebus. Wish I was in your circle of friends. I am way over in Oregon. I love cars and tinker too but would like some buddies to hang with and work with. My Duramax is heavily modded and great for towing the fifthwheel RV. On paper I should be at 550hp and around 1,000 torque. My daily driver is an APR tuned 2013 Audi A6 3.0 Super charged at 450hp with torque to match.

Looks like your having a ton of fun. Keep on posting. Your work is inspiring.

Then move to KY ;)

Ill bet that Duramax is a blast. I have driven some 1KTQ turbo diesel trucks and love the way the power comes on.

My buddy is a huge Audi guy and almost bought the A6...went A4 instead. I strongly considered an A6 instead of my new 540Msport. Post some pics if you have them.

Some nice cars in this thread!

I see the dyno is above ground with the 4 post, will you put it at the house or another location? It will sure eat up a bunch of floor space. My buddy put his setup like that outside under a gigantic portable shelter.

For now its at my shop and will be sitting behind a 4 post I already had....doesn't eat up much extra space at all.

My business partner is buying a new house in the country and will have a big metal shop building....and the dyno will end up there below ground.

Your friends setup sounds cool....never seen that.

And here I was thinking I was doing OK with just a C6 running about 14psi of boost through the stock bottom end

Shop/dyno/etc looks awesome. I do a bit of tuning on the side for GM engines so I'm quite jealous.

Dogs are great garage pals. Does he have his own spot in the garage where he can hang out and keep an eye on everything?

He actually doesn't really like being in the garage the floor is cold and he doesn't like to lay on it....and the noises scare him. Hes not very much of a pitbull lol.

Awesome documentation of projects / love the shop and equipment !!
Just read it all yesterday and today-very addictive.
Good to see you had no problem with the Maxjax- I installed 1 last year but coudn't get it to lift evenly side-to side- so after several hrs of bleeding /discussions with Danmar with no practical solution I returned it
What have you done to limit odors from shop work travelling up into your living area?
Once again great work!!
