5HP compressor and a plasma cutter?

Just bought a 50 AMP plasma and have an old IR 5 horse upright compressor.

Right now my shop has a 70 AMP service based on wire size we ran from the house to the shop.
I'm thinking since I only have one 220 outlet that I could branch off that one adding another outlet for the plasma (and whatever else)
Eventually I want to upgrade wire size for more capacity but its not in the cards for now.

Just cutting sheet metal to start so probably won't be running anywhere near the 50 amp on the plasma (I would guess). Concerned about tripping the breaker if the compressor kicks on while cutting.

Thoughts?
