Hi all, I have built a nice homemade parts ********. It has awesome capacity and runs great. I use motors out of orbital buffers that I have been able to find at pawn shops but have now gone through two of them. I can find the buffers pretty cheap - $15 bucks - but if I could find a higher quality motor that would fit the same profile that would be great.

Otherwise, an option to find a source for the motors. Or I need to understand what is going wrong on the motor and what I could fix cheap.

It's not hard to swap out the motor the way I built it. It runs great when its running but just need a better motor solution.

Any thoughts would be great!

thanks!

Pics of the current motor and how its set up would help a lot.

I would suggest a better built buffer to start with.
A real “Pro Quality” machine.
Better bearings, thicker shafts, etc.
