Just got a 75 dollar gift card to harbor freight for my birthday. What should I get? I'm thinking about getting an electric die grinder so I can finally get the bed off my comanche and can't afford a compressor right now. But im on the fence. Recommendations to get the most out of the 75 bucks?

Electric 1/2" impact wrench, $10 angle grinder, as well as a corded drill to get the bed off.

Just do what all the old men do, wander the aisles with your 25% off coupons until you find something you didn't know you have to have.

Anybody want to start a fund to buy Mickey O a HF gift certificate?

With coupons, you could get the Earthquake impact or the low profile steel jack. Both are excellent.

Those HF cordless drills work fine. I keep one in my trunk tool box. Saved my **** on many projects away from home. Mine is the earlier model like this one. I think I paid $22 for it. I didn't have a 20% coupon back then (2010) -- not sure they even existed back then. Or it would've been $17.60. It feels solid and nice. The charger and battery both have nice fit and finish as well.

Also, the composite ratchets as someone mentioned are good, and the impact sockets. The Pittsburgh Professional screwdrivers seem alright, but I haven't used any yet.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I ended up getting the electric die grinder, electric half inch impact (20 percent off), a four way lug tool, cut off wheels, die grinder Arbor, and a free flashlight. Ended up spending 40 of my own cash. All in all a decent trip to hf.

About 30 pounds of ****. Could be awesome ****, could be awful ****. Depends on what you pick out.

If I had a gift card to harbor freight (never a likely proposition) I'd probably buy 95% pittsburgh pro hand tools and 5% on random stuff. I've bought some random stuff from them and actually haven't been disappointed with it.

If you get a die grinder might want to get an extended warranty with that.:dunno:

They get a bad rap from a lot of people. I've used plenty and most of it is good (not just for the price). Obviously the less moving parts the better but the pittsburgh pro ratchets are great as well as most if not all of the pittsburgh pro line. I'll use it, hell I'll use most **** tools. If they fail I know not to buy them again.
