Looks like some price matching between Amazon and Home Depot. Not a killer deal but it's nice that this is the 8 gallon vs 5.5 gallon version.

I think I paid $139 for my 5510 a few years ago on sale. I remember thinking I should have bought both that were left at Menards. I'm probably going to get this one.

Thanks for posting.

My vintage Craftsman has 4.5 cfm @ 40 psi and 3.0 cfm @ 90 psi. The problem is it keeps blowing the relief valve and I think it needs a new switch.

Should I repair it or jump on this one?

I would suggest asking in tool talk. You'll get more replies and I think that topic would be considered off topic in this subforum

I love mine... but with one important caveat - 120psi max pressure is not enough for some applications. For example, I do a lot of work with framing nailers... no go with these compressors in common applications because there's not enough headroom. If you are needing 90-100psi at the gun, you will find yourself screwed once the tank gets down to 100-110psi.

If you're fine with the pressure, they are really nice compressors that are VERY quiet compared to a normal compressor, oiled or not.
