Congratulations! This is by far the best "tool" you will ever get for your garage. BTW, I have an HD9 as well.
Just some pointers here. NEVER get too comfortable with your lift. Respect it and pay close attention to what is going on at all four columns, EVERY time you lower your lift. I can't stress this enough. Train yourself to do saftey checks at all four columns. What I do is always look at a spot right in the center of the bottom of the lift and use my peripheral vision to monitor all the columns at the same time. You can also train yourself to monitor the cables for slack - which should never be there while the lift is being lowered.
These are just some things that I wanted to mention. Many of us have garages with only 8-10' of height, which will limit how far up you can lift your car to clear the columns locks. Hence, sooner or later, you'll be thinking that you cleared all of the locks and will be lowering your car, only to see the car leaning towards one side (or one column). Don't panic, you just have a column that is still locked. You now need to quickly raise the lift again - high enough now so that you can unlock the column.
Not trying to scare you, or anyone on this site, just saying to get yourselft trained on some safety procedures from the get-go here. After I had my lift for a while, I started to get more and more comfortable with it and made the mistake of trying to listen for all the locks to unlock and thought everything was fine. All it took as one good scare to change that.
