I don't see where it says 5 hp.. just says "The 240 volt, running HP, heavy-duty induction motor "

If you scroll halfway down the product page, you should be able to see the "Product description" (I pasted it below). Can also jump there by viewing the top of the page under the title where it has bulleted points with a link to "See more product details".

it does say 5hp

I also looked at the manufacturer website.

Does anyone have experience with this compressor?

Why is the TSC IR better?

I was not trying to start a reading comprehension exam...

I believe people generally lean towards the Tractor Supply Ingersoll because you get to see it before you buy/pickup. You know hopefully avoid shipping damages.

not trying to be a smart-***, but...

do you not have a PageDown key? The space bar should work as well - to page down. I see spaces in your post so I surmise that key works for you. or..... just look at the screen capture in post #9.

don't know what else to say....

----

I have the CH 80 gallon. It's 19-20 years old. It think I paid $400 for it. I remember it being significantly cheaper than the IR, which I wanted but couldn't justify at the time. It came in the back of an 18 wheeler and the driver hand-trucked it up the driveway. 3 houses later...
it's still on the pallet. I put synthetic in it, replaced with drain valve with an HF blowgun on braided clear hose and it just runs.

You get to see the IR unit in person but have to get it home. Amazon delivers and has a generous return policy.
