Im considering trading my 68 epiq in for an 84. Having trouble deciding if I should get the 3 full banks of drawers or the powerbank. Im not always directly in front of my box. Most of my cordless stuff is in my roll cart although I would like a place to keep my chargers better organized. Price isn't a factor as their the same price either configuration.

My question is after having a powerbank would you change if you could or are you completely sold on the powerbank?

Powerbank. I could never go back after having it. That is, unless you have a lot of use for the smaller drawers on the side. Small drawers are useless to me so the decision was easy.

I went with 3 banks of drawers, fit my needs better. I also figured SO may offer a powerbank style side cab in the future for the Epiqs. They haven't yet (to my knowledge) but you never know.

This is the type of decision I wish I could be making in my life.

If you have that many cordless tools and want them in the toolbox then get the one with the powerbank. You can always add a sidecab to it later.

I love the powerbank settup, If your going to 84" it's a great thing to have - especially if you use battery powered stuff. It frees up the traditional drawer full of air / power tools and gets the stuff better organized.

Thank you sir! I didn't realize the powerbank held that many air tools. That's about how many tools I have to put in one. I also want to get rid of the big bottom right drawer for 2 smaller ones like you did.

I actually had a little downtime at the end of day today and shifted things around some more in there.
I had found one of my air tools that had grown legs and took a vacation to another department in the middle of all the confusion when my new box showed up last week(thanks to the boss, most likely). It didn't really fit in anywhere, so I added a 12" wide shelf (the one that came with the workcenter) and made it possible to stow 2 or three more air tools while keeping quick access.

That's a smoking great idea  After seeing yours Im pretty certain Im gonna go with the powerbank. Id like to be closer to pay off on mine. Our dealer comes by tomorrow so well see what kind of deal I can get.

My current epiq is green mica. Im kind of torn between going back to extreme green or white.

Ordered an epiq 84 2 weeks ago. I opted for the powerbank after seeing some pics of it with tools in it. I like the self idea. Does the shelf mint to the drawer or does t have to be modified?
