I have a dayton, but looks similar...
Please verify, but mine is wired for single phase and is as follows:
L1 POWER (WHITE WIRE FROM LINE)
L2 POWER (BLACK WIRE FROM LINE)
T1 MOTOR
T2 MOTOR
Looks like you have both wires from motor to "T2" ?

One thing that might help you to know is that isn't specific to Champion, or any other brand compressor at all for that matter, that's just a Furnas magnetic motor starter and the wiring setup is pretty generic from one to the other. I don't have my bookmarks with me at work but Google "how to wire a magnetic starter" and you'll find a ton of info...
update: well i figured it out and got it to start but its running really slow!!! i ran 10guage wire solid about 65 feet to the out shed ...on line chart said ok, dad said ,ok, depo guy said ok, but i think im loosing voltage even though it reads 220 at tester, im gonna try running a 6 guage stranded wire from breaker to compressor and see if this helps.. if it does its gonna be a pita to get a new wire out there as sheet rock is up ect.
What size is the motor?
3hp 220 single
10 ga wire is rated for 15 amps, I don't have my little book handy to figure the drop at 65 feet. I would use 8ga. at least, good for 24 amps. What's the amp draw for the motor?
