New member, came here through the IFSJA site. I started doing a full body off resto of a 79 Jeep Cherokee, going back with a '05 5.3L and 4L60. That is why I got into my shop. My shop is a 24 x 40 garage, 10' high plate with two 9' high by 10' wide doors front and back for my tractor (JD 5410 w/cab) and then the 18' wide garage door. The 24 depth allows my F-350 room when I get to put it in, but since the Jeep started, not much else is in there. It's in Brenham, TX and my bigger problem was keeping it cool. With all the doors open and a couple of fans, it's been tolerable. I've added a 60 gallon 5 hp Puma compressor with a 60 gal back up tank to provide more air. Plumbed it in with black iron pipe, read here not to use PVC. Have a HF gantry crane, engine puller and 20 T press as well as a Lincoln Ranger stick welder, Lincoln wire feed welder and a plasma cutter for some body work. The work bench is 36" high as I'm 6' 3" and didn't want to stoop. Have a couple of bar stools so I can sit at the work bench comfortably.
