Hey, Hey Here comes Santa (Secret) Claus!
He came rolling up in a red, white and blue truck and left a big brown box for me. Our Christmas tree is waaaay off at the inlaws', so I had to improvise for the picture. I did slit the tape and peek inside, but just enough to tell whether the contents are gift wrapped. They're not, so I didn't peek any further. Honest!

( x-raying doesn't count as peeking, riiiiight?)

Wait, your wife opens packages that are addressed soley to you and in no way, shape or form have HER name on it?

Just got back from a short business trip. My package arrived from the UK while I was away; my wife tucked it in under the tree for me. Haven't opened it yet, so don't know whom my SS is yet!

received my SS gift late last week. Really curious to find out what's in it!!!

My recipient, for the first time in however many years I've participated in this event may not get his until next week. Things got busy life-wise and I was late in sending so the plan was to send it 2 day fed-ex. I didn't notice until I got to the fed ex place today that his address is a PO box (they only deliver to civic addresses unless a phone number is provided) so I had to double back to the Post office and send it expedited post. Sadly, Canada Post isn't built for speed so it may not make it in time. Also, in the switching of packaging, the card/note got left out of the package so the only identifying feature is that the return address is Canadian. Hopefully a Christmas miracle will happen and it'll catch a quick truck/plane across the continent. Fingers crossed!

The eagle has landed...on my end. Package I sent out Saturday is still showing it is in transit to a USPS sorting facility as per the tracking. I sure hope it gets to Iowa by Wednesday! Beginning to think I should have headed back to school early and dropped it off along the way
