Just about any jackshaft operator will handle a 9' tall door. If you need to stick with a traditional overhead unit, Genie, Liftmaster, and so on all offer 9' or 10' rails.

Don't buy the home depot version of these with the rail extension.. The rails are "pieced" together and have a lot of flex even when you get the standard height. What you can buy at HD needs to fit in a box, so they don't sell the continuous rails... I had to get them from a garage door specialist... Don't be like me, buy once..

I'd suggest jackshaft also...

You can add 2’ extensions to most of the overhead openers. I did it on my Chamberlain

they dont come in 9' but you can cut the rail and chain/belt down to make it into a 9' if you really need it to be 9'.
